Story
We often get asked about how and why Rocky Moo began. It has always been a dream of ours to have a business that allows us to make people happy while having a positive environment where we could glorify God by being good stewards of what he has entrusted us with. As a bonus we get to eat delicious ice cream and cookies everyday. Wait, I mean perform numerous quality control inspections. Here’s the scoop. (This version may or may not have exaggerated someone’s reaction) Okay, fine…it did. But it’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

Dennis: What is something people eat and makes them happy?
Mary: Dessert!
Dennis: What kind of dessert?
Mary: Ice cream!!
Dennis: What else?
Mary: Cookies and brownies!
Dennis: What about custom ice cream sandwiches with cookies and brownies?!
Mary: Wow! what a great idea! You’re amazing Dennis! You’re always right!
Ok maybe I took a little creative liberty on how this story began and some things may not have been said, but tomayto, tomahto right?! I’m sure that’s exactly what she was thinking and thinks everyday. Anyway focus.
The initial process of creating Rocky Moo arose from the desire to be part of something different. Something positive and uplifting. Something amazing. It started as just a dream and has evolved into something we had never imagined. But like the pursuit of any dream there have been some rocky roads (pun intended…if we’re going to be friends then you must know that we use a lot of puns. Especially cow puns, some say we milk those). Our journey might not always be smooth, we’re definitely not perfect, but our focus and desire to bring a smile to our guests will always remain.
Our recipe for success is to intently focus on bettering the experience of our guests. People work hard for their money and we are extremely thankful when they choose to spend it at Rocky Moo. We want our guests to create lasting memories with friends and loved ones while enjoying a treat.
